Our Product
The soils and sands found in and around Brandvlei belong to the weathered sediments of the Witwatersrand and Transvaal Supergroups. The metamorphosed quartzite copies and underlying granites have been weathered over millions of years to provide a thick layer of silica rich sand with little or no clay particles, boulders or pebbles.

The quarry is situated approximately 60km from Johannesburg on the N14 highway towards Ventersdorp and approximately 15 km from the Randfontein town center. The farm lies approximately 2 km north of the main crossing between the N14 and the Ventersdorp road towards Magaliesburg.
